Kigali International Airport (also known as Kanombe Airport) is the only international airport in Rwanda. A citizen of East African Community Member States shall be issued a pass/entry visa free of charge upon arrival to stay for a period of six months.

Rwanda is a malaria endemic country, and all its 30 districts are at risk of malaria infection. Travelers from low malaria endemic or malaria free countries are encouraged to use available malaria prevention measures.
